Eeek! Yes. I recently got hired at Bath & Body Works. I've been working for almost a month now, and I really love it. I didn't think I was going to get hired, but I got a call about a month after I turned in my application. (Apparently they accidently skipped over my application! Oh well. The important thing is I did get an interview, and I got hired!) :D I was ecstatic! This is my first real job, and so far so good. Bath & Body is a great place to work. Its such a fun atmosphere, I love working with people, it smells Ah-mazing, and can you say DISCOUNT? haha. There AND Victoria Secret. Uh awesome! lol So, I enjoy it. I don't get TOO many hours to where I'm overwhelmed with class. [Did I mention I'm taking Calculus? Yuck. Just three more weeks! ;) ]
So lately I've just been keeping busy with class, working, and volunteering at the hospital [which is going great by the way!]. I absolutely LOVE working with such amazing kids at the hospital. They're just wonderful. A few weeks ago, I even got my nails painted with a hot pink nail polish that smelled like... STRAWBERRIES! haha So cool right? She was so sweet. I love love LOVE volunteering at Driscoll. Its awesome. I'm really hoping I can land an internship there next summer. Fingers crossed everything will work out!
Soo.. I guess I can now say everything is starting to look up now. When I'm not volunteering at the hospital, or studying limits & derivatives in Calculus, OR selling amazing smelling lotion/perfume etc, I get to spend some time with my great friends. That's probably the best part about summer. Most of my friends and I go to different universities. My best friend actually goes to school at BROWN University in Rhode Island. (Yep, she's a bit of a smartie haha). Anyways Rhode Island = SO SO far from Texas :( So I'm so happy I get to see her.
